Flexible 24V Current Monitoring

Modularized to the Maxium Effect

Mico Pro® is the new and innovative current monitoring system from Murrelektronik for 12 and 24 VDC applications with patented tripping process. The modular system enables you to adapt systems precisely to suit specific applications – offering a favorable cost-benefit ratio while also being economical in their use of space. The patented tripping process assures optimum machine availability. An additional benefit: an integrated concept for potential distribution that significantly declutters the switch cabinet wiring.

You can select between modules with one, two, or four output channels. On the Fix modules, the tripping currents (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 16 A) are fixed which makes them a tamper-proof solution. On the Flex modules, the tripping current can be adjusted at the touch of a button from 1 to 10 A or from 11 to 20 A. Their narrow width of 8, 12, or 24 millimeters enables significant savings in space.

Up to 30,000 µF can be loaded per channel. So it's possible to monitor a number of high capacitive loads with one device.

Mico Pro can be cascaded. This means: on a Mico channel with a tripping current of more than 10 A, another Mico Pro station can be connected.

Early Failure Prevention

When 90% of the selected current load on a channel is reached, the LED blinks green. This helps to prevent wear of motor valves at an early stage if channels fail during operation because of an increased demand of power.

Connect with MICO

With the integrated bridging system, MB Redundancy Balance can be combined with MICO, the electronic load circuit control module, without additional wiring efforts. The bridging system is a quick and easy way to connect modules while avoiding wiring errors and maintaining a current carrying capacity of up to 40A.

Avoid Inrush Spikes

MICO eliminates start-up spikes with a cascading start of individual current paths. This allows you to size your power supplies to your average use as opposed to your start up needs.

Significant Time Savings

Spring clamp terminals are designed so that connection wires can be easily inserted by hand from the front. The connection is permanent and never needs retightening. This is an easy way to make a safe connection while shortening installation time.

Operating Conditions Saved

MICO saves the operating condition of each channel even during loss of power. This simplifies troubleshooting when the channel is brought back online.

Comprehensive approvals

MB Redundancy modules have worldwide approvals. This is very important for companies working internationally.
