Innovation Day at Murrelektronik

Murrelektronik Joins Forces with the Packaging Excellence Center (PEC) to Promote Innovation within Packaging.The Association says innovative family-owned companies like Murrelektronik help advance the packaging industry and develop unique expertise for companies worldwide.

Murrelektronik, a longtime member of the Packaging Excellence Center (PEC), invited global market leaders, customers, and public sector entities in December to a Leadership in Packaging Summit to further promote solutions for the packaging industry worldwide.

Inspired by the possibilities of Industry 4.0, participants were given in-depth demonstrations that featured Murrelektronik solutions both in the field of 24 VDC current monitoring and in on-demand diagnostics for machines and applications. The company tour provided participants with a behind-the-scenes look at Murrelektronik’s fieldbus competence center, automated warehouse, and testing and approvals lab.

“Packaging has been revolutionized within the last 50 years: there have been advances in sustainable production, reducing waste and using environmentally friendly materials. Murrelektronik and PEC members and customers came together at this the summit with the goal to continue to advance this industry,” Jens Möllmann, Murrelektronik Business Development Manager.
